Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team in and around State College, PA. DSPs provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, acting as companions and mentors for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Direct Support Professional (DSP):
