ASG Home Care in Ridgefield Park, NJ is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes, communities, or day programs. This part-time role focuses on personalized assistance to help clients live fulfilling lives.

As a DSP, you will promote independence, document care, and collaborate with families and care teams to implement tailored plans, preserving each client’s dignity and autonomy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes, community, or day program
• Assist with daily living activities, such as medication management, personal care, and meal preparation
• Encourage independence, participation, and engagement in daily routines and activities
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with supervisors, families, and other caregivers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
