Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is seeking compassionate DSPs to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them build independence and meaningful daily lives.

You’ll follow individualized plans, assist with daily tasks, and promote safety, dignity, and self-advocacy while collaborating with a supportive team and receiving training to thrive in this meaningful role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Required to pass PA background clearances.
• Comfortable working independently while part of a team.
• Experience in caregiving, education, healthcare, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times
