Job summary

The Arc Lexington seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in New York to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through personalized, compassionate care. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive hourly wages and a weekend premium.

As a DSP, you will support daily living, promote independence, and maintain health records, while advocating for residents’ rights and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• NYS driver's license with 2 years of driving experience required.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records.

The Arc Lexington has Full-Time and Part-Time openings. With starting rates ranging from $19.35-$20.50, most DSPs earn, on average, $20.00 per hour. Additionally, there is an extra $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.
