Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and participate in their communities. • High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement and adhere to ISP goals for clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
