Job summary

Vocational Visions is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Mission Viejo, CA. The role involves building a positive environment, guiding participants in social and daily living skills, and accompanying them on community outings in company-provided vehicles.

The position offers daytime hours (8:00am–2:30pm), weekend freedom, and a starting wage of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18+ years old.
• Graduated from high school or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive environment for participants to socialize, learn skills, and meet physical needs.
• Keep notes on each participant’s progress and growth.
• Accompany participants in the community and guide social/community living skills.
