Job summary

Brandi's Hope Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Days) to provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes a caring, patient attitude and teamwork in a community setting.

Hours are Sunday–Wednesday, 7am–7pm and 7am–3pm on Wednesday; starting pay is $10.00/hour with a guaranteed 45-hour week, plus overtime structure after orientation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Two years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
•  
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients.
•  
• Pass a background check and drug screening; CPR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
•  
• Assist with job supports, self-care, recreation and community inclusion.
•  
• Transport clients to appointments as needed; act as job advocate.
•  
• Assist with feeding and hygiene when required; follow care plans.
