Job summary

Mozaic is recruiting a Direct Support Professional for daytime services in Seneca Falls, NY. You'll support people with disabilities in community settings, helping them develop skills and stay connected, following individualized care plans and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes advocacy, teamwork with families and professionals, and turning compassion into a meaningful career. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 37.5 hours weekly, with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transportation, appointments, personal care and routines while following individualized care plans, medication guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Provide day-to-day support and advocacy, championing rights, choices and goals of the people supported.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and case managers to ensure services remain coordinated and responsive to each person's needs.

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities during daytime hours.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties:

In this role, you'll work in community‑based and habilitation settings, helping people develop skills, stay connected in their communities, and move toward greater independence.

As a DSP, you'll build meaningful relationships through respectful, person‑centered support that encourages confidence and positive self‑esteem. Your daily work will include assisting with transportation, appointments, personal care, and routines while following individualized care plans, medication guidelines, and safety protocols to support overall well‑being.

More than providing day‑to‑day assistance, DSPs are strong advocates‑championing the rights, choices, and goals of the people they support. You'll collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and case managers to ensure services remain coordinated and responsive to each person's unique needs.

Pay Rate: $17.92-$18.67 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Direct Support Professional Qualifications:
