Mars Premier Care LLC in Newark, NJ is seeking a compassionate individual dedicated to providing quality care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The role involves supporting daily living activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience or education in social work, knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, and valid certifications such as first aid and CPR. A valid driver's license is also required for transportation of clients.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience working with children or in a childcare setting is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• First aid and CPR certification is mandatory.

• Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times

• Document individual progress and communicate effectively with team members

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities (mileage reimbursement)
• First aid and CPR certification is mandatory
