Job summary

YAI is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Queens to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves direct care, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting integration into the community.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, experience in the I/DD field is a plus, and must be willing to complete required training. Various full-time and part-time shifts are available, with a compensation range of $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct care services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to complete mandatory trainings like CPR/First Aid, AMAP, and others.
• Valid NY State Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care services including support with personal care, medical and dietary needs.
• Ensure health, safety, and wellness of individuals supported.
• Participate in developing treatment plans and documentation compliance.
