Job summary

Access Services, Inc. in Hatfield, PA is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support older adults with developmental disabilities in our Senior Adult Day Program.

You will implement the Individual Support Plan and document progress while helping participants maintain or increase independence and pursue meaningful goals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and may include Driver's license, background checks, and driving during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR encouraged; Community Participation Supports for DSP within six months of hire will be paid for.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Individual Support Plan (ISP) for each participant.
• Record daily service notes and other documentation as assigned by Program Specialist/Team Lead.
• Help ensure high quality of care to individuals and meet their needs.
• Establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures individual needs, self-expression, and goals.
• Facilitate inclusion in the community through experiences and activities.
• Promote independence in daily living, learning, leisure, and community opportunities.
