Job summary

The State of Minnesota, Direct Care and Treatment, is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Alexandria, MN. This part-time role supports Minnesota's vulnerable residents with daily living activities, transportation, and community engagement across rotating day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with work, recreation, and activities of daily living.
• Lift, move, or position non-ambulatory or ambulatory individuals.
• Administer medications and follow instructions.
• Respond to medical emergencies, including first aid and CPR.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments and activities.
• Respond therapeutically to individuals with challenging behaviors.
