Wesley Glen Ministries, Inc. in Columbus, GA is hiring full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help adults with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible. You’ll be an advocate, mentor, and part of a caring team in a 24/7 residential setting.

The role includes daily living support, documenting progress, transporting residents to activities, and promoting personal growth. Competitive pay starts at $17/hour with flexible shifts, benefits, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean 7-year history.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to get certified).
• Able to lift/carry 15+ lbs and assist adults up to 300 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying stress levels.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, clean, engaging home environment.
• Assist residents with daily living skills like meal prep, hygiene, and housekeeping.
• Ensure medication is properly managed and documented.
• Facilitate social activities and skill-building for personal growth.

Our group homes provide 24/7 care for four adults each, and our team works collaboratively to ensure that every resident thrives physically, emotionally, and socially.
