Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with IDD in Williamsport and surrounding areas. You will help individuals live more independently, participate in their communities, and build meaningful life skills.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $25 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours per week. We offer flexible schedules, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to support personal-care needs when needed.
• No prior experience is required — we provide paid training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Building positive, supportive relationships
• Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Supporting individuals in community activities, employment, and social engagement
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals learn new skills
• Supporting communication and use of adaptive tools
• Promoting health, safety, and emotional well‑being
• Communicating with families, team members, and support professionals
• Completing documentation and maintaining schedules
• Participating in ongoing training and development
