Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide 1:1 support for a 20-year-old female client in the Camillus/Syracuse area. The role includes helping with money transactions, personal hygiene, and daily communication in a supportive, patient manner.

The position is part-time (4:00pm–8:00pm on Fridays, about 3–4 hours weekly) with potential for additional hours and travel to different locations. A valid driver’s license is required and the ability to assist with personal care when

She enjoys playing on the playground, swimming, and dancing. She enjoys going to the MOST, McDonalds, the library, the mall, and the movies. She is open to trying most things and has a “go with the flow” attitude. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, engaging, active, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed.This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.Hours and days of work: 3-4 hours per week, 4:00pm-8:00pm on FridaysStarting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.Location: Camillus/Syracuse, NYEOEMust have a valid drivers licenseEffective communication and organizational skills required.Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
