Brightway Living & Learning in Dix Hills, NY is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Adult Residential Services. This full-time, on-site role offers an hourly rate of $21.00 to $23.10/hour and requires a valid NYS Driver's License with driving history clearance.

Multiple shifts available to support our program and individuals we serve. New hires not meeting criteria may start at $19.00/hour, with ongoing training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Brightway Living and

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway Living and Learning Transportation Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community outings.
• Foster independence by helping individuals develop life skills and make choices.
• Promote social inclusion by supporting participation in community activities.
• Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy and patience.
• Collaborate effectively with a supportive team of DSPs, supervisors, and families.
