Job summary

Hope Network West Michigan is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Grand Rapids, MI for a 7AM–7PM shift (36 hours). You’ll support individuals to build independence through daily living activities, community involvement, and skill development, working in a compassionate, person-centered manner.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transportation, and health needs while maintaining a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass background checks and fingerprints.
• CPR/First Aid certification to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), personal care, and medications.
• Support community outings, transportation, and activities.
• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
