Responsibilities

• Seek out community/social integration opportunities and help consumers plan and prepare choices of fun events and outings.
• Assist with self‑care activities: dressing, bathing or showering, brushing teeth, toileting, shaving.
• Administer medication.
• Prepare and plan meals.
• Transport consumers.
• Follow individual service plans.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Acceptable background character verification.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low positions, raise arms above shoulder, walk, sit, climb stairs and use hands and fingers.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and internet navigation skills.
• Experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
