The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help participants achieve their goals and independence.

The position pays $18.00 to $18.65 per hour, with a Mon-Fri schedule from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Six months experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus and valued by the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, daily living activities, and mobility.
• Document daily activities and progress using case management software.

About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide, you’ll provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.

Pat: The pay for this position is $18.00 to $18.65.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

What you’ll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.
