Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Decorah Mission Office role to support program participants with personalized planning and coordination.

You will assist with goal setting, resource access, and service delivery, including transportation to appointments and activities. The position emphasizes communication, documentation accuracy, and ethical relations with participants and community partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to instruct persons with disabilities and adjust to changing situations.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Management certification within 6 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assists program participants with developing strategies and following through on responsibilities.
• Encourages participants to achieve goals based on their needs and strengths.
• Provides information about community resources and helps participants advocate for themselves.
• Drives participants to and from appointments and activities.
• Maintains accurate documentation per guidelines and timelines.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed and follows reporting requirements.
