You will train, supervise, and advise participants, coordinating services as needed and communicating effectively with program participants and stakeholders. Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have CPR/First Aid within 6 months of starting employment and Medication Management certification.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to instruct persons with disabilities.
• Ability to adjust to unexpected or different situations.
• Computer proficiency.
• Reliable cellphone.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm that motivates others.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.

Aufgaben

• Assist program participants with developing strategies and following through on responsibilities.
• Encourage participants to achieve goals by tailoring programming to needs and strengths.
• Provide information about community resources and help participants advocate for themselves.
• Drive participants to appointments, events, and activities.
• Ensure access to resources and coordinate when needed.
• Provide ongoing assessment to identify needs and bolster capabilities and preferences.
• Build rapport through effective communication tailored to each participant.
• Maintain accurate documentation following guidelines and systems and manage documentation priorities.
• Submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and comply with reporting requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with participants, families, coworkers and other agencies.
• Perform all duties and align with Goodwill’s core values IMPACT.
