Job summary

CONNECT, INC. in Greensburg, PA is seeking part-time staff to help maintain an emergency residence facility and assist clients with daily living. Shifts include Midnight–8:00 AM and 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, with evening and weekend coverage.

The role focuses on safety, cleanliness, and implementing housing service plans, with opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to receive, understand, and communicate effectively; follow instructions.
• Must be able to use electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor evening and weekend operations of the emergency residential site.
• Lock/open the site timely and ensure residents' safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site; respond to emergencies.
• Assist clients with housing service plans on a hands-on basis.
• Attend staff meetings and training to develop skills.

Midnight 12:00AM to 8:00AM and Nights 4:00PM to 12:00AM

Overall Function

Maintains the general security, cleanliness, of the assigned emergency residence facility while aiding clients with daily living.

Essential Functions

• Monitors the evening/weekend operation of the emergency residential site.
• Responsible for locking and opening the residential site at the appropriate times, daily, and ensures the safety of the residential site and residents.
• Maintains proper condition, cleanliness, and safety of residential site, and responds appropriately to emergency situations.
• Provides hands on instruction to implement housing service plans.
• Participates in regular staff meetings, and training to develop basic knowledge and skills necessary to assist clients.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of skills, experience and education may be considered at the discretion of the Agency.
• Ability to receive, understand, and community with effectiveness and follow instructions.
• Must have ability to utilize electronic medical records.
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and safe driving record.
• Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
• Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.
