Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Willow Grove, PA program. No experience is required—we provide paid training. Pay starts at $16.75/hour, up to $18.75/hour.

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 4:00pm–12:00am. You will assist residents with daily living activities, housekeeping, and laundry, under supervision, helping individuals to navigate daily tasks and achieve independence. Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide or school setting with IDD is preferred.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve goals.
• Support with housekeeping and laundry and navigate daily living tasks.
• Work under supervision of the House Manager with progress reviews.

Your work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager who reviews results through living area observation of activities in progress, residents’ responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports, and periodic meetings. Make a difference in the life of those you work with to enhance their independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.
