Merakey in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our program. No experience required as paid training is provided, and we welcome Caregivers, Direct Care Workers, and Home Health Aides to apply.

The role offers an opportunity to grow while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals. As a DSP, you will support daily living activities, promote independence, assist with hygiene and personal care, and help individuals participate in community activities.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (own transportation preferred).
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.

Pay Rate- $18.13/hr or $20.13 with the selection of Enhanced Pay

Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.


• Must possess a valid driver’s license. (Prefer candidates have their own transportation).


• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.


• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.


• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
