Circle of Life Home Care and Soaring Eagles Home Care in Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist clients in their homes, helping them stay independent and safe in familiar surroundings.

You will support daily living tasks, build trusting relationships, and report concerns to the coordinator. The role starts part-time with potential for more hours, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required to visit clients at home.
• Willing to provide transportation if necessary.
• Must hold valid Driver's License and current auto/health insurance.

Position Duties Include:

• Visiting clients in their homes and helping them maintain their independence. There really is no place like home! You'll be helping families in your community stay in their homes. We are looking for workers in Duluth and surrounding areas to help disabled adults. This is a perfect job for people who are looking for a little extra income. Schedules vary depending on client needs, This position is part-time to start but can build into more hours as there has been an increasing need for support in the community.
• Provide Direct Support to Clientsthis includes supporting the client in individualized goals, including personal care tasks such as helping client get in and out of bed, assisting with bathing/showering, and making sure their home is clean and safe.
• Building relationships with your clients and reporting any concerns to the Designated Coordinator.
• Supporting community engagementby attending community events, etc.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants need reliable transportation and are comfortable visiting clients in their home. Willing to provide transportation if necessary, must hold valid DL and current insurance.
