Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Chambersburg, PA. Earn up to $18.75/hour with Enhanced Pay options or $16.75/hour without Enhanced Pay. Training is provided, no prior experience required. Shifts include 1st shift across weeks with varied days to cover mornings.

You'll perform direct care, assist with ADLs, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and transportation while promoting independence and well-being in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
