Job summary

The Arc of Spokane is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities live more independently and participate in community life. You will provide personalized support, encourage growth, and build meaningful connections to improve quality of life.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible schedules, including day, swing, and overnight shifts, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to successfully complete required fingerprint background screenings.
• Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current liability insurance.
• Willingness to transport supported individuals to appointments, shopping trips, recreational activities, and other community destinations. Training on agency vehicles may be provided.
• Ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings within designated timeframes.

Available Schedules

We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Candidates must have flexible availability, including at least one weekend day.

Available shifts include:

• Days: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Swings: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Overnight: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Compensation increases are based on longevity and continued employment with The Arc of Spokane.
