Job summary

Independent Beginnings Llc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to provide compassionate, hands-on care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and meals while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

The role includes transport responsibilities as needed, with mileage reimbursement, and requires English communication and a reliable vehicle where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to communicate in English (spoken and written).
• Personal vehicle required if transporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Help with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities (mileage reimbursement).
