Job summary

Creative Living Options, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Sacramento/Davis. Responsibilities include personal care, transportation to appointments, social engagement, and safety procedures.

You will contribute to IPP/ISP goals and maintain daily notes while supporting health and well-being. The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to train, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to client care including grooming, bathing, hygiene, toileting, and feeding.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and activities; encourage socialization.
• Implement approved safety procedures during emergencies such as fire or earthquakes.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain accurate daily notes and IPP/ISP goal coaching.
• Keep home clean and safe; report issues to supervisor promptly.

The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities receiving Supported Living Services partnering closely with all paid and unpaid companions/support persons and circles of support while promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals.
