Job summary

Focus Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with Autism and Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities build independence and meaningful lives within their communities.

We offer flexible part-time and full-time schedules, with pay of $16.50-$18.50/hour based on experience, plus mileage reimbursement and paid training. No experience required; we value compassion, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must pass criminal background clearances.
• Experience in Human Services or as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, errands, household tasks, hygiene, and personal care as needed.
• Encourage independence and community involvement.
• Build positive, supportive relationships.
• Help create fun, safe, and engaging experiences.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to assist individuals with getting up, walking, and moving by lifting or guiding when necessary.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more at times.
