Job summary

Merakey in Sheffield, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our IDD Division. Earn $18.50 per hour, with day shifts available and no experience required as paid training is provided.

As a DSP you will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and community transportation while promoting health and safety. You’ll document progress notes and support life skills in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No experience required—paid training provided.

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
