Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Parkesburg program. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, support independence, and help them reach personal goals in a caring home environment.

No experience is required—paid training is provided. We offer flexible shifts, competitive pay, and benefits to help our team thrive while making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Experience in home health aide or school setting with IDD preferred.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities under supervision.
• Support independence through daily tasks such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow procedures and participate in progress reviews with the House Manager.
• Provide care with compassion to improve residents' well-being.

No Experience Required - We Provide PAID Training.

Payrate- $16.25 per/hr

Our ideal DSP candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their individuals lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Be a part of fostering a true sense of pride in your individual by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry. Your work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager who reviews results through living area observation of activities in progress, residents’ responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports, and periodic meetings. Make a difference in the life of those you work with to enhance their independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.
