Job summary

Sevita is hiring for a Full-Time role in Orlando, FL, working afternoons and evenings to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Mentor Community Services. You will build meaningful relationships, help participants engage in community activities, and assist with daily living tasks in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and some human services experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants in pursuing community activities and personal goals.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Take initiative and demonstrate ownership under supervision.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure participants’ safety and wellbeing.

Requirements
