Job summary

DSP Connections, Inc is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join individuals in achieving life skills, independence, and community integration. Location coverage includes Linn, Marion, Polk, and Lincoln Counties in Oregon.

Roles include part-time and full-time positions with weekend, swing, and after-school shifts. CPR/First Aid within 30 days, reliable transport, and a compassionate approach are required; vaccine may be requested by families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience with the I/DD community or 1+ year caregiving/related experience.
• CPR/First Aid training within 30 days of hire (training provided).
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Ability to transport a client in their personal vehicle for outings/errands.
• Covid vaccine/booster if requested by the family.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in life skills, independence, and community integration.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and community involvement.
• Provide respectful, person-centered care and advocacy.

Job Types: Part-time and Full-time

***Potential FT hours available with flexible availability and willing to work at multiple locations.

Schedule:

• Weekend Part-time
• Swing shifts (late afternoon and evenings)
• Part-time Day Shifts (mid mornings)
• Before school and after school care
• May work additional hours on requested holidays and non-school days (summer, winter break, spring break, etc.)
• Overtime available (if willing to pick up additional clients)
