Job summary

DSP Connections, Inc in Oregon is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in life skills, independence, and community integration. The role includes flexible locations across Linn, Marion, Polk, and Lincoln Counties.

We offer part-time and full-time positions with weekend and swing shifts, plus benefits such as PTO, health insurance for full-time staff, 401K, and opportunities for professional development and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience with the I/DD community or minimum 1 year caregiving experience or related experience.
• CPR/First Aid training within 30 days of hire (will provide class opportunities)
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Able to transport a client in their personal vehicle for community outings, errands, and more.
• Covid Vaccine/Booster (If requested by the family)

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with I/DD in life skills and daily living.
• Facilitate community integration through outings and activities.
• Ensure safety and well-being during transport and in the home.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to meet goals.

Job Types: Part-time and Full-time

Schedule:

• Weekend Part-time
• Swing shifts (late afternoon and evenings)
• Part-time Day Shifts (mid mornings)
• Before school and after school care
• May work additional hours on requested holidays and non-school days (summer, winter break, spring break, etc.)
• Overtime available (if willing to pick up additional clients)
