Merakey in Ambler, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated team. If you are a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, or Home Health Aide, this is the opportunity for you as we are hiring immediately.

Our Direct Support Professionals follow Individual Support Plans to guide daily activities, help with personal care, and support independence. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays offer a rewarding schedule and pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aid, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals join our Ambler, PA location to work with individuals under an Individual Support Plan.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Support community integration and social skills through activities and parks or sensory gardens.
• Help with housekeeping and laundry to foster independence.

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer’s lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM-11:00 PM
Full-Time | 32 Hours/Week

Pay: $16.00-$21/hour

Pay is increased with the optional selection of the Enhanced Pay option, and an additional $2-$3/hour shift differential for overnight shifts
