Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Philadelphia program. No experience required as PAID training is provided. The role involves supporting individuals in daily activities, promoting independence, and teaching daily living skills in various settings.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We offer comprehensive benefits and a welcoming, supportive team focused on creating meaningful daily experiences for individuals.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities per the Individual Support Plan.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
• Support with personal care and daily hygiene.
• Help individuals develop social and communication skills.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry as part of daily living tasks.

Position Details

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer's lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Earn up to 18.75 with the selection of Enhanced Pay.

Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 2:00PM- 10:00PM
