Job summary

PHP of Alabama in Birmingham is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in community-based group homes in Memphis, TN. You will coordinate and conduct individual and group recreational activities and assist residents with daily living tasks.

No prior training needed; must be reliable, caring, safety-conscious and able to learn on the job. Full-time and part-time slots with multiple shifts are available; a $350 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Able to perform Physical Management tasks (stretch, push, pull, etc.) for up to eight hours.

The primary qualification for this job is that you be a responsible, caring, safety-conscious person willing to learn on the job.

Full-time, part-time , multiple shifts, and locations available.

Requirements

Direct Support Professional Required Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must be willing to undergo a background and drug screening
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Must be able to maintain the ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, walk or stand up to eight hours and able to perform the requirements of Physical Management.
