Job summary

AEDD, Inc. invites compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals in Maumelle, Arkansas. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities to develop essential life skills and participate in daily activities.

The position is safety‑sensitive, requires a HS diploma or GED (or relevant experience), a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and ability to work evening shifts. Training includes CPR, First Aid, and defensive driving, with documentation and timesheet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience in public health, human services, or a community service agency.
• Alternatively, two years of verifiable experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities may qualify.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
• Background check and drug screening required for all candidates.
• Ability to effectively interact with individuals and understand written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing essential life skills, from health and hygiene to independent living tasks.
• Foster a positive and respectful environment at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily routines as outlined in the Medicaid Waiver Person-Centered Service Plan.
• Help individuals engage with their community through activities like shopping, social events, appointments, and more.
• Provide safe and reliable transportation using your personal vehicle (must meet AR state insurance requirements).
• Maintain records of consumer expenses and document progress.
• Offer input during annual service planning meetings.
• Complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and in-service sessions.
• Submit weekly documentation and timesheets on time.

Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Female Group Home

Location: Maumelle Ar

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11pm -7 am

Starting Pay: $14:00 per hour (negotiable based on education and experience)

What We're Looking For:

• Age Requirement: 18 years or older.

Physical Requirements:
