What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their personal goals and thrive in their communities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personalized support to individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Assisting with community integration by accompanying individuals to appointments, social events, or recreational activities.
• Encouraging and fostering independence by teaching life skills such as budgeting, cooking, or navigating public transportation.
• Monitoring and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Documenting and reporting progress, challenges, and any incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborating with team members and families to create a supportive and nurturing environment.
