Sevita is hiring as a caregiver in a residential setting in Long Beach, CA. You will assist individuals with personal care, support their community participation, and help them achieve everyday goals while building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Be part of a mission-driven team and help participants be part of the community and enjoy their activities.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative to help participants with their development and daily routines.
• Provide supportive care in a residential setting during scheduled shifts.

What You’ll Bring To Sevita

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination

• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license for at least one year and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
