Job summary

Sevita is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based setting in Minnesota. Wage is $18.00 per hour and full-time schedules include every other weekend 7am-7pm and Tue, Wed, Fri 3pm-9pm, Thurs 3pm-11pm.

You will help participants with daily living, personal care, budgeting, exercise and nutrition while developing meaningful relationships. The role offers a mission-driven team and opportunities for growth within a respected organization.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants work toward personal goals like budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and provide person-centered care.
