Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in our Livingston area community homes. Responsibilities include daily caregiving activities, meal prep, personal hygiene, and medication administration.

Based in our person-centered homes, DSPs help individuals participate in activities and support integration with clinical teams to improve quality of life. Training provided; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
