Job summary

Ameriwell Care in New Jersey is seeking an ASL-speaking Direct Support Professional to help a hearing-impaired individual live independently and stay engaged in the community. You will accompany the person to activities and appointments, provide support through ASL, and encourage daily independence.

This part-time role offers 12–15 hours per week in Little Ferry, with flexible scheduling and a compassionate, person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience or comfort supporting individuals with hearing impairment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to community participation.
