Job summary

Ameriwell Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with developmental disabilities build independence and stay connected to their communities. You'll work in homes and communities, supporting daily routines and personal growth.

This role emphasizes compassion, safety, and teamwork. You will document services in electronic systems, coordinate with families and care teams, and take part in ongoing training and growth opportunities within the agency.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to complete all required hiring clearances and screenings.
• Have (or be willing to obtain) CPR and First Aid certification.
• Have reliable transportation for getting to assigned cases.
• Bring a positive attitude, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Experience is a plus, but not required—we provide guidance and support.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and organization
