Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and meet all hiring compliance standards.
• CPR and First Aid training if not already certified.
• Have dependable transportation to travel to assigned cases as needed.
• Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and compassion in serving individuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized support services in home and community settings, tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Assist individuals in building and maintaining everyday life skills such as cooking, personal care, organization, and routines.
• Facilitate participation in community activities, including social outings, errands, and appointments.
• Promote independence, confidence, and meaningful social interaction.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment with appropriate supervision at all times.
• Complete accurate service documentation using electronic systems, including HHA Exchange, per NJ guidelines.
