Job summary

Traditional Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Locations include Bloomsburg, Catawissa, Danville, Berwick, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Location: Catawissa, PA; Bloomsburg, PA; Danville, PA; Berwick, PA;

Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

IMMEDIATE NEEDS: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends and Evenings

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job Duties Include

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must Have Drivers License
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
