Job summary

EMPOWERING ANGELS LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional — Personal Care Specialist in Kentucky. You will provide hands-on personal care, meal assistance, and support daily living activities to help clients live healthier, more independent lives.

You will lead exercise programs, monitor health changes, and document observations to ensure client safety and dignity. Training is provided, and a positive, compassionate attitude is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with personal care or direct support preferred; training provided.
• Basic medication handling and first aid training (or willingness to be trained).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to client safety and dignity.
• Valid driver’s license a plus for community activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (showering, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
