Traditional Home Care, a locally owned home care agency, is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wilkes-Barre and Dallas, PA.

Multiple shifts available including weekdays, weekends, and 12-, 10-, 8-, and 4-hour options. You will log visits via mobile EVV devices and must have reliable internet. Pay ranges from $17 to $22 per hour with weekly pay.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.
• Comfort using smartphones/tablets and EVV systems.

Mansioni

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Support communication and social interaction.
• Assist with light housekeeping and errands.
• Help maintain a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Support individuals to meet goals and community participation.

Pay Range:

$17.00-$22.00 per hour

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job duties include:

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skilled
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements:

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
