Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Farmingdale, New Jersey, to gain independence and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. This role focuses on compassion, everyday care, and helping clients reach personal goals.

Part-time DSP positions require reliable transportation and a genuine desire to support our community. Duties include daily living skills coaching, community activities, and documenting supports

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience with individuals with developmental delays
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help individuals integrate into the community through activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Kindly Direct Care is seeking DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community
• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Part time - Tuesdays and Thursdays - 10 am - 3 pm

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
